For reasons I can not explain today was a sad day. I had a very good day at work and things are well at home, but for some reason today is sub par. I need to listen some good music.

Caucus Meeting Update
I went to my caucus meeting last night and I was very surprised by the turnout and enthusiasm. My house legislative district is District 50, which is primarily compromised of South Jordan. While, unfortunately, not all precincts within District 50 had members attending, my particular precinct had many attendees. A South Jordan local, Christian Burridge, will be challenging the infamous Chris Cannon in the third district. Many members of his neighborhood were at the meeting in support of Burridge’s candidacy.
As always, I was very happy to know that I am not on some political island in my community. I was happy I attended.
Precinct Caucus Meetings TODAY
Today I plan on attending my local Democratic Precinct Caucus meeting in South Jordan, UT. It appears as if the Republican in my legislative district, Marilyn Newbold, is running unopposed. That really makes me mad. If I had two more years under my belt I could run in my district. Nevertheless, I will go to my meeting and support the local party.
Every election year I get this very good feeling. I see a good list of good democratic candidates, and I get the feel goods about election time. And then again and again the people of Utah go to the polls and re-elect the same jerks that continually ruin the state. Let’s make the difference this year. If BYU students can vote for Democrats, so can you!
3 Year’s Worth of Crap In Iraq
Today marks the third aniversary of the Iraq war. Three year’s worth of death, instability, and a dwindling image of Amercia across the world. I fear that wen we do finally leave the Iraqi wasteland we will have created a Middle East so unstable that we will have to go back again.
The Bush administration looks like they will be on an all out offensive today on the Sunday talk shows. I see that Gen. Casey is scheduled to be on at least 3 talk shows. I am sure that we will hear that “things are going great in Iraq.” NO!, things are not going well in Iraq.
Hope you enjoy that legacy Mr. Bush.
South Park Episode Pulled
Well the good old boys from South Park have offended us again! This time they made too much fun of the Church of Scientology. I saw the episode, it was awesome. Check out their official statement concerning the pulling of the show.
Paul Dayton to tackle Saturday
Well it is again Saturday. I do not have to work today. I am free to do with my time as I will. Well guess what jerks! I am going to dominate and own the day.
12 Hours Yesterday
Yesterday I was at work for 12 hours. The strange thing is it felt like 4 hours. I must be getting old.
Totally Awesome Fundamentalist Goes Out of Business
Dell Schanze, a likely mentally insane Mormon business man, announced on Friday that his business Totally Awesome computers is going out of business. I found this quote by dell: “It’s too bad that all of the media in Utah are liars and murderers,” he said. “You just destroyed the greatest computer company of all time. We were the best in the world, the world champion. All this hatred was created by you. You’re basically angels of Satan. All I can say to the people in Utah is, please pray for all the news people.”
I hate how this man invokes his religion. Some of those liars and murders are employed by KSL / Deseret News which is owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am surprised that the Utah media has enough power to destroy the “Greatest Computer Company in the World.”
Go to hell Dell Schanze! Quit blaming the media for your business failure.
Intel, Apple, and the new world of Computing.
This year will be a ladmark year in the world of computing. Earlier this week Apple announced a new version of the MacMini that has a dual core intel cpu. While it is not possible to run Windows XP (thank’s to Mactel’s new EFI), it is becoming increasing possible to run x86 linux on the new macs. Add to all that goodness, Windows Vista will be coming out this year. While I am generally suspicious of Microsoft by default, I am excited to see the first update to Microsoft’s desktop OS in nearly five years.
Proving that guns don’t kill people, DICK shoots a man.
Dick Cheney, our asshole vice president, shot a man today. Aparently Dick was hunting and he wasn’t practicing good hunter saftey. I guess guns and asshole don’t mix well.
