In Vegas
We made it to Las Vegas at 9 pm local time. Starla is very excited to be at what she calls “Las Begas.” My first good omen, gas is a mere 3.83 a gallon!

Getting Ready for the trip
My family and I will be traveling to Las Vegas tomorrow to attend a Star Trek convention. With our recent move, Mandy’s pregnancy, and my new job we have really needed a vacation. I can’t wait to go.

The Mullet in Spanish Fork
Mandy and I play a game specific to our new home town. The game goes like this: Spot someone in touch with their redneck sense. Ever since we moved to Spanish Fork we have noticed an unusually high number of redneck / country folk. Today’s sighting includes a well molded mullet procuring beer at Albertsons.

Apple and AT&T Make Me Sad
I ordered my iPhone 2.0 3G nearly three weeks ago and it is not yet here. My order status from AT&T states that it is still back ordered. That makes me sad.

Utah does not like to vote
I have hear this story a couple times over the past week. Utah has the worst voter participation in the country. For this we should be ashamed. Even though we vote like communists in this state, where most of us just assume that the Republican is the way to vote, at least we could turn out in greater numbers.
Part of the problem has to be the single party dominance in this state. People just think that one party is the way is has to be. AAAHHHH. Makes Paul mad!

I hurt myself
I was running up a basketball court, when I jumped on a chair, attempted an awesome shot, and failed miserably. Now I have a sprained ankle, in a lot of pain, and I can barely walk. So much for being awesome.
